Welcome to the Salim Young (Kanyundo) Official App, developed by Tropical Technology, Nyeri, Kenya. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our app.

• Name and phone number (when joining the Fans Club)
• Business name and county (for Corporate members)
• Business details (when registering on the Marketplace)
• WhatsApp and email address (optional, for contact purposes)

We use your information to:

• Process your Fans Club membership
• Display your business on the Salim Young Marketplace
• Contact you regarding your membership or listing
• Send notifications about new music, shows, and events
• Improve the app experience

4. Data Storage

Your data is stored securely on Google Firebase (Firestore), which complies with international data protection standards. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

5. Fan Club Members

When you join the Fans Club:

• Esteemed Fans: Your name and county are visible to other Esteemed Fan members
• Corporate Members: Your business name, name, county and phone are visible to other Corporate members
• Phone numbers are only shared with admin for contact purposes

6. Marketplace Listings

When you register as a supplier on the Marketplace, your business information (name, category, description, phone, WhatsApp) will be publicly visible to all app users after admin approval.

7. M-Pesa Payments

The app displays our M-Pesa Till Number (9082851) for fans who wish to support Salim Young. We do not process or store any payment card information within the app.

8. Third-Party Links

Our app contains links to YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and WhatsApp. These platforms have their own privacy policies which we encourage you to review.

9. Push Notifications

We may send push notifications about new songs, upcoming shows, and fan club updates. You can disable notifications in the app Settings at any time.

10. Children's Privacy

Our app is intended for users aged 13 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

You have the right to:

• Request deletion of your data
• Opt out of notifications
